Applications for the Korea National University of Arts AMA Scholarship 2025 are open for international students. At KNUA you can pursue your both Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree programs in South Korea in the academic year 2025-2026. International students from 142 countries are eligible to apply for this prestigious scholarship program.
The aim of this program is to educate the students for spreading Asian arts to the world at a global level. This project helps artists in developing countries become better at their craft and learn more about art. It wants to create a Place/Center where artists can learn and grow, and eventually become known around the world.

AMA Scholarship Benefits
- An amount of 800,000 KRW/Month will be given to the students as a Monthly Allowance.
- Applicants will receive economy-class airfare between their home country and Korea for admission and graduation.
- Full tuition fee coverage is available for regular semesters only
- Before entrance a 6-month intensive Korean Language Training.
- 100,000 KRW/Month Korean Proficiency Grants (one year only)
- Korea’s National Health Insurance
- An amount of 200,000 KRW as a Settlement Allowance for first entry to Korea.
- Upto 1,000,000 KRW for Graduation Thesis Allowance

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Art Major Plus Scholarship is given below.
- Only selected Asian country applicants (listed below) can apply for the AMA Scholarship.
- Must have a graduate degree from a recognized high school or university by February 28, 2024.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree if you are applying for the Master’s program.
- Must demonstrate excellent academic records and outstanding artistic talents.
- Must be mentally and physically fit and should not have any restrictions on foreign travel.
