Overview of Netherlands Job Seeker Visa

It is a type of visa that is valid only for one year, available for those applicants who want to start a business or find a job in the Netherlands. The processing time for this visa is 90 days. Applicants who are applying for the job seeker visa have to pay 210 euros for the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria

I have provided the visa requirements below, to be eligible for the visa must fulfill any ONE of these requirements.

Case 1: You did research in the last 3 years and had a residence permit in the Netherlands for research purposes.

Case 2: You have earned a Master’s degree in the context of an Erasmus Mundus Masters course within the last 3 years.

Case 3: You have completed study programs (given below) in the past 3 years:

  1. A study program in the context of the Cultural Policy Act in the Netherlands.
  2. An accredited program in bachelor’s degree or master’s degree at a Dutch higher education institution.
  3. A Postmaster program for at least one academic year in the Netherlands “minimum 10 months”.
  4. A study program in the context of the development cooperation policy of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands.

Case 4: You must have completed a master’s or doctoral or a post-master program from a Designated Foreign Educational Institution.

Note: Applicants must meet in any one case from the above-mentioned cases to be eligible for the Netherlands Job Seeker visa.

These are the following documents you need on the day of appointment at the Dutch Embassy:

  • Completed Application Form
  • Passport and Photo
  • A valid passport or other travel document.
  • Must take a TB (tuberculosis) test after arriving in the Netherlands.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university.

How to Apply For The Netherlands Job Seeker Visa?
